Talking About Location

I wanted to add a few photos that would serve as samples for portrait locations.

I have several areas at my location in Simpsonville, SC that I consider my in-home studio. I’ve had shoots with clients here before who are looking for the cozy home vibes without the pressure of needing to have their own home put together a certain way. The master suite set up is perfect for a couple’s shoot or brand work, and I have another sitting room that would be great for those shoots or milestone/senior shoots as well.

The industrial brick building pictured is the inside of Taylor’s Mill, which is available to rent out for sessions as well. Downtown Greer is another one of my favorites for the industrial/old brick and buildings look.

In the west village of Greenville there are a few really cool locations that would make for some rad shoot locations. The plant store Savereign, and the coffee shop next to it The Village Grind would both make for the coolest lifestyle session locations! Methodical in downtown Greenville is also a fun coffee shop location.

Some of my favorite outdoor places to shoot are Lake Conestee, The Rock Quarry, Clemson Botanical Gardens, and Falls Park. A bit of a farther drive, but I did a shoot at Wildcat Wayside and Bald Rock and they were both fabulous back drops for the shoot.

Sometimes clients need some inspiration on what kind of shoot they’d like to do…outdoor…homey… industrial. I hope this provides a few useful samples when you’re trying to decide what you’d like! I will always give a list of suggestions for whichever vibe you’re going for, and we will find the perfect location for your shoot together. Keep scrolling to look through some pictures I’ve taken for locations samples!
